PHAMExpo June 2013

So there was this one day back in June of 2013 that I went to PHAMExpo...haha this post is soooooooo very late because I've been lacking motivation and been busy with work...but better late than never right!

So on to PHAMExpo....it was the first annual of its kind...and it just happened to be at the Pasadena Convention Center...the same place as IMATS....so I was excited in the familiarity of the setup/location.

I decided to take my mom to this event because she couldn't make IMATS...and she was sooo excited! Almost as much as me...and she had an awesome time as well!

I got to meet some amazing people, video bloggers, makeup artists, and makeup creators. It was a freaking blast and I can't wait until this June to go back again (hopefully)!

I got lots of amazing products from Lime Crime, Sugarpill, Sauce Box, Makeup Forever, OCC Cosmetics, Bdellium Tools, Red Cherry Lashes, Eye Candy Cosmetics and Royal & Langnickel brushes.

Super Exciting News to Share!

Hey everyone! It's been quite awhile since I've blogged...but it's overdue!

Back in February, My friend +Charmaine Mossbarger  asked me if I was available to do her makeup for her music video. I had to check my schedule...but there was NO WAY I was going to miss this opportunity!! So I confirmed...and the magic happened!

I started with her eyes....they wanted dramatic and contrasting (since they were filming partial in black and white) So this is the look I came up with! Enjoy! And make sure to watch the music video linked below! Comment below what you think! Thanks again Charmy! <3

IMATS LA 2013!!!! *Super Long Blog*

Ahhhhhhhh IMATS.....how I love love loveeeeee you! I was so very excited for this day (January 19, 2013)! I bought tickets early....and then started counting down! I was very lucky to be accompanied by some amazing friends this year as opposed to going alone last June. Anyways it was a great day....so let's get this blog started.......

So I meet up with Rebecca, Denise and Charmy...we get out wristbands and go inside. HOLY MOLY IT'S PACKED! It was way busier than it was last June...but we were up for the challenge!

We started at the Ardell lashes booth...holy guacamole...lots and lots of lashes! They had this amazing sale...6 lashes for $15 and 2 for $5 eyelash glue! Denise and I went crazy and got 6 lashes each!

While shopping for lashes I spot Goldiestarling *SQUEEEEEEL* I was sooooo excited to meet her because she is an amazingggggg makeup artist! She was so sweet and welcoming! We chatted for a bit and took a pic also! If you don't subscribe to her YouTube channel...you should!!!!

 We kept wandering around....and made our way to the line of Lime Crime...it was super long but well worth the wait! While in line we got to meet Doe Deere...the creator of Lime Crime! I bought the Chinadoll Palette and a lipstick from there...ZOMG the shadows in the palette are sooooo very pigmented! I am very impressed with them! I wanted the Velvetine matte lip gloss but they were out of Red Velvet. :( I'll have to get it online!

We kept on wandering....saw some awesome booths....and super cool makeup being done by contestants from Face Off!

Speaking of Face Off...I got to meet the winner of 2 seasons ago Rayce...he was super super nice and chatted with me for a bit. Plus he's super cute :) *I look horrible in this pic! LOL

 I also got to meet RJ Haddy again. I met him last year and he was just as cool this year as last!

SUGARPILL!!!!!

Oh man Sugarpill! This is probably the best booth in the whole building in my opinion! Nothing but positive vibes, beautifully dressed people and BRIGHT COLORS! There were lots of lovely Drag Queens walkin around...but my fave is Petrilude...aka. Jisty Plaven...they definitely know how to apply amazing makeup! I'm jealous!

I also got to meet Elessa Jade...she creates some awesome accessories!

We went to Shany Cosmetics...they have amazing palettes for inexpensive prices! I didn't purchase one but I did get some awesome nail decor. They had a sale 5 for $10 and I couldn't pass it up!

                                                  

                                                 

We stopped by Dante's Disposable Products and I picked up some Disposable Mascara and Lipgloss wands yay!!! There were so awesomely priced!!!

Stopped by the Lady Moss booth and got some more eyelashes....one pair I didn't take a pic of before I wore them on Saturday. They were awesome and looked great! But here are the other pair.

We stopped by Crown Brushes, Royal Langnickel, Designer Tools and Morphe brushes....and I picked up some awesome new brushes! I washed them and used them Saturday...I love them! I forgot to take a picture of a lip brush that I bought also. >.<

Yeah there were long lines, and lots of people but thats what makes it so much fun! Networking is what its all about and I really feel that I did a lot of that this year! Met a lot of amazing YouTube gurus who complimented me on my makeup *which made me feel awesome*. I've also decided that I really should start making YouTube video tutorials..I need to jump into it head first and not worry about anything else!
